    Is link building really worthwhile?

    In a link building campaign, you have to find target Web sites in the first place, review them to decide if asking for a link is worthwhile, identify the contact person and send them a customized link request. Marketers rely on search engine optimization (SEO) to improve search rankings, website traffic and lead generation. Search engine optimization is perhaps one of the greatest marketing tools to come about online, but without proper article submissions it won’t work out to your liking. That is why it’s imperative to search and find the best article directories to submit your hard earned work and watch the numbers start to add up. The purchase cycle can sometimes involve a large number of clicks.

    High advertisement ratio

    One of the most common misconceptions is that blogging on your own site is going to help your SEO. Good ways to boost readability include breaking up sub-topics within your content, using images and videos to help explain difficult concepts, and visually highlighting one or two quotable sound bites that illustrate key points. More and more, search engines have begun to incorporate social context into their search results. If you have too many keywords stuffed into your domain, this can be viewed as a spammy tactic that Google can pick up on.

    I highly recommend starting off with building out resources their target audience would care about, want to share on social media, and want to link to. If you don’t learn anything from the page, neither will your viewers! Building out a navigation map that takes SEO into consideration will save you a lot of heartache throughout your project! When you link to a webpage, you’re proclaiming that you trust that content as a resource – so your brand is on the line.

    Tailor to shoppers, not search engines

    Often, the best SEO strategy is to focus on long tail terms—search terms that are highly specific, relevant, and with strong buying intent. Clearly, keywords are important. They always have been and they always will be. Search engines like Google want to know that a piece of content is obviously about a specific keyword.     Canonicalizing URLs is a very important aspect of Search Engine Optimization but also of Social Media Marketing. Mobile SEO should always be a work in progress because there are always new things.
