Internal linking is one of the few methods we can use to tell Google (and visitors) that a particular page of content is important. So how should you go about linking internally to other pages of your website?2 Targeting a hungry crowd can offer lots of benefits to your online business. This is because they are searching for immediate solutions to their questions or problems. Reaching an international audience is an opportunity that is now available to small and medium businesses in a way that has never been possible historically. Search engines scan captions and metadata separately, so remember to think about how you have tagged and named your original media files too. Although bounce rate is hard to measure you should definitely monitor the trend of your bounce rate and the differences in bounce rate between your pages. If a specific page has a very high bounce rate, you should try to figure out what’s the cause. You could add links to other useful pages or call to actions to keep people on your site.
Revise your old content and update it
Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the process of improving your site's ranking in search results. Unfortunately the factors search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo use to rank sites are kept secret and change frequently. You can get up to six sitelinks for your SERP listing, plus a searchbox if you can wrangle one. On desktop, this means that four or five times as much SERP space is given over to your listing, while on mobile, a sitelinked listing can take up the entire screen. Google has placed an increased onus on trust in recent times. If Google trusts your site, it means your site is more resilient and also tends to ranks better. It used to be that buying backlinks as you could was a successful means of boosting your organic search results. But today, it’s definitely not good to buy them in big packages. Google has declared that if you buy bulk backlinks to improve your rankings, you're breaching their guidelines. Google has built a giant database of hundreds of trillions of webpageswhich its algorithm then analyzes and ranks. It does this by sending out scores of digital robots, or “spiders,” which visit page after page. They “click on” the links on each page to see where they lead.
    No-index or Remove Thin Pages
To many users the personalization of search results is helpful and convenient, but an increasing number of users are disturbed by the extent to which the sites they encounter are being shaped by forces outside of their control. Because the number of links pointing to your website substantially impacts your SEO rankings (the more high-quality links you have, the better), link building is one of the best SEO tactics. An effective link building strategy involves providing guest post content and infographics to other websites. The online audience has evolved and expectations are high. They are mobile, they are time poor and they live in a world where sharing ideas and content on social networks is just a natural part of consuming online content. So, how does Google determine site quality? Although SEO marketing tactics take a long time to show impact and ranking against high-power competitors isn’t an easy task, SEO should be a critical part of any small business’ long-term growth marketing plan. Links from low-quality sites will do very little for your visibility. If the site practices Black Hat SEO (link-schemes, spamming, doorway pages) then can potentially harm your ranking.
    IncludE benefits in your subheadings
Gaz Hall, a Freelance SEO Consultant from SEO Hull, commented: "Enter one of your keywords into the search box of the search engine of your choice to determine the sites with the top search engine placement for this word. You are aiming for keywords that are frequently used by your target audience, but do not have many competing pages. " The three main pillars of Search Engine Optimization; content, links and site architecture will remain for years to come. How SEO works for a big brand with an established reputation and a massive marketing team, PR agency and all of that stuff is very different to how SEO works for some local tradesmen with a low-end budget that has to catch up with the big boys. Organizing your website into various sections, each with their own unique focus, will help visitors to find the content they’re seeking, as well as similar content they might also enjoy perusing. Links from longer form, evergreen content (a 1,000+ word article that’s been popular for a long time) will be higher value than short, news-based posts.
The first choice should be structure
SEO has tremendously grown over the past few years and search engines are getting smarter and smarter. Staying on top of the current updates and changes is thus crucial in deepening your knowledge of how to take advantage of it. It may not be a good idea to link to the website from footers or sidebars. Technical SEO is an often misunderstood discipline that many find difficult to pin down in exact terms. It’s a new era for SEO, an era where you can no longer keyword-stuff your way to search ranking success. Nowadays, if Google finds out that you are blatantly overusing (or hiding) keywords on your site, your credibility (and rankings) could take a serious hit. However, this doesn’t mean that keywords are totally irrelevant. In fact, if you’re doing what Google wants you to do (creating high-quality content), keywords will work there way naturally into your website’s pages. Optimizing page titles for search is best done finding a balance between volume and intent.
On page optimization is an important component of SEO
There are many theories, some backed by data, that show Google uses user metrics such as bounce rate, click through rate, time on site, etc. when determining the relevancy of a piece of content to the searcher’s query. Great content never sleeps, never needs a lunch break and is adored by search engines and customers alike. Internal links can help you prove your authority in a particular field by creating a logical sequence from one post to the other. This may lead to a series of posts that offer additional value, making it easier for search engines to understand your key topics. The content on your website must be unique and creative. It has to be relevant to your readers, and not published just for SEO purposes. To create relevant content, research the latest trends and write blog posts that are engaging. Teach your audience how to do something, and always update old content. Linking to authority sites helps send trust signals to Google. The link relevancy is important and should be done in a proper manner.
