    The Broken Link-Building Method

Scraping feeds to create automated content for your website is plain stupid. Either for affiliate gain or just to add content to your website, this type of content, to lure Google to your site, doesn’t add any value to the internet, Google or any human. It just slows down Google, as it has to decide on whether this content is of any value to its visitors. It’s not most of the times. If you tried to optimize an article for a certain keyword, but it’s getting more traffic for a different variation of that keyword, then go back in and re-optimize it for the new keyword. Despite all the changes, the fundamentals of search engines remain the same. To understand SEO, you need to understand search engines. A search engine is a piece of software that crawls the internet and indexes its pages in order to provide the best website recommendations based on a user's search query. And they use complex, ever-changing algorithms to do that.

    The Importance of Keyword Reviews

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could find out exactly which keywords your competitors are ranking for AND how much search traffic those keywords are bringing in? Know your audience – surveys and your analytics software can help you get a better picture of your typical visitor or client. Nothing is worse than arriving to a site and finding content with keywords strategically (and awkwardly) positioned throughout. If you are focused on a local market, it is also important to get connected with local businesses and organizations.

    Search engine health check

Great content never sleeps, never needs a lunch break and is adored by search engines and customers alike. We all know that when it comes to link building, we aim for the authority links in the first place. But they’re also the hardest to land. Search engines are adapting and beginning to favor natural, more speech-like content, so to keep up we have to provide content in the same way. We have to think like our customers and answer the questions they’re asking in as concise and an informative way possible. Yes, contextual link building is important, because they boost results on search engines. But, the number of links on a particular content page also matters to Google.

    The Broken Link-Building Method

Rest assured that real SEO has nothing to do with keyword stuffing, keyword density, hacks, tricks or cunning techniques. If you hear any of these terms from your SEO advisor, run away from them as quickly as you can. Contextual link building is the quickest way to boost your site’s search performance. What would you type into a search engine to find your business website or page? Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "Prevent duplicate content. Don’t confuse Google with almost similar pages. Those serve no one."

    Use anchor text

The visual structure of your website is, in most cases, presented by the menu of your website. Of course, breadcrumbs and permalinks help a lot here as well, but these are not the things an ordinary visitor will take into account. The menu is. There are ways to do a bulk search on a list of URLs to check if any of the pages contain a link to yours, but if you're checking this on a daily basis, it's probably just as fast to do a quick manual check. When you link to a webpage, you’re proclaiming that you trust that content as a resource – so your brand is on the line. There's nothing like marketing in the minute.
