can i have a field to work like a price for extra fields on thread?
You very well can, a lot of our clients use Extra Threadfields in combination with advanced forums in order to get more of a marketplace feel for their forums.
If you take a look here for example:

You will see a forum we made fooling around with the 2 products in order to make a place to sell sneakers. Using advanced forums, it transforms that forum only into a different layout (where results show in columns like a grid, and showing the first attachment of the post).
Then we use the Extra Threadfields to make fields such as "price" :)
