Your links will definitely be re-written since vBseo rewrites links globally last I checked

Glad ya like it. You can edit the php file to take recent entries from posts as oppose to threads. However, the two additional blocks would require adding codes.

You can probably copy over the chatbox plugin to another plugin in the provb_index_start location and then edit the template to include it if you'd like, should speed things up
